TARRANT, Ala. (WIAT) — The Tarrant City Council has approved a tax abatement agreement with Second Mile Transport, a trucking and logistics company that city leaders said is expected to bring hundreds of jobs and new economic investment to the area.
Mayor Tracie B. Threadford said Monday that approving the agreement is a major step toward revitalizing the city and creating long-term opportunities for residents.
