Lower rain chances as Bertha moves away from Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tropical Storm Bertha will begin moving away from the Tampa Bay area faster today and will take a lot of the deeper moisture with it.

This will allow a pocket of drier air to move in today and tomorrow, bringing rain chances to just 30%. Only spotty, quick showers are in the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday will still be windy with gusts of 20-30 mph at times. Winds will come down some on Wednesday but will still be on the breezy side out of the southeast…
