LOS ANGELES, CA — At least one person died in an early Friday crash on the northbound 5 Freeway in Los Angeles, according to California Highway Patrol logs. The collision was reported at about 2:56 a.m. just south of Glendale Boulevard.
Investigators and first responders found several vehicles involved, including a gray Toyota Prius blocking the No. 1 lane, a gray sedan in the center divider, and two other vehicles on the right shoulder. Authorities also found one person down in the center divider, though it was not immediately clear whether that person was a pedestrian or someone who had been inside one of the vehicles.
