A $48.8 million project will widen and extend McCart Avenue and McPherson Boulevard in southwest Fort Worth, adding new roadway connections near Crowley.
The project, located in Council District 6, will extend McCart Avenue south to Twin Leaf Drive and connect it with an extension of McPherson Boulevard, said Abby Tucker, project manager at Fort Worth Transportation and Public Works Department, during a June 17 meeting.
