Baxter Health’s Cline Emergency Center has earned Level 1 Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation, the top tier of a national credential and the first of its kind in Arkansas, the hospital announced.
The accreditation comes from the American College of Emergency Physicians. Only three other Arkansas hospitals hold the credential at any level, and none have reached Level 1, according to Baxter Health.
The milestone delivers on a plan the hospital laid out in public more than a year ago.
