2 wheelchairs stolen from paralyzed woman’s home, 1 recovered, the other still not found

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A woman left paralyzed after being shot by a stalker three decades ago returned home from a family gathering over the weekend to find her front door open and several items stolen including her $30,000 motorized wheelchair.

Debra Moore said she discovered the break-in after arriving home. Among the items taken were a 65-inch television, money, clothes, a laptop and the motorized wheelchair she relies on for mobility.

Moore said the loss of the wheelchair has left her confined to her bed…
