DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man was arrested on Sunday evening after an alleged domestic dispute in Miamisburg. Officials said he ran from the scene into the woods while armed with a butcher knife.
According to the Miamisburg Police Department, crews were dispatched at approximately 4:30 p.m. to the 7000 block of Springboro Pike. They were told a man, Jerimiah Gaines, had armed himself with a butcher knife and ran into the woods. This then prompted significant law enforcement response.
Two hours later, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the man exited the woods, and officials said he was taken into custody without incident.
