Evansville man arrested after Glock switch found in apartment

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – An investigation into an intimidation report leads to an Evansville man being arrested while owning a Glock switch.

According to an affidavit, while investigators were working the case back in April, authorities inquired to one person if they were in possession of a gun. The man claimed no and reportedly denied consent for officers to search his apartment. After applying for a warrant, the man claimed a roommate of his, Deavion Bennett, had a Glock with a “switch” plus another handgun in the apartment.

During the search, officers reportedly found a Beretta with an extended magazine on a chair in the middle of the living room. Inside a backpack near the couch was reported to be a Glock handgun with a machine gun switch…
