JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was arrested on local warrants alleging adoption-related fraud, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Kolby Alana Schweiger was taken into custody on two third-degree felony counts: one count of adoption deception involving more than $300 and a second count alleging she made false representations to obtain living expenses with no intent to complete an adoptive placement.
Bond on one warrant was listed at $10,003 and on the other at $5,003. Schweiger was booked into the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office jail at 1:34 p.m. on July 16 after being transported from the Indian River County jail, according to the arrest report…
