Trial of man accused of killing street preacher in front of his wife and toddler postponed

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Kelly Massa must now drive back to Louisiana without a resolution in her brother’s capital murder case.

“We had about at least 20 family members here today that took off work, rearranged their schedules, arranged childcare for their kids, hotel expenses, it’s not like we get any of that back. So it’s definitely frustrating,” Massa said.

Massa says the judge postponed the trial of Jerimiah Walker, the man accused of shooting Thomas Hand, Jr. because of the jury’s racial makeup, which ended up being all black…
