Fire Broke Out Between Two Antelope Homes and Families Escaped Without a Single Injury

On July 21, 2026, around 2:30 in the afternoon, Metro Fire crews responded to the 4001 block of Tawny Meadow Way in the Antelope neighborhood of Sacramento. The fire had not started inside a home. It started in the space between two homes, with both homeowners still inside.
Both made it out. No injuries reported.
