The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is inviting residents to share their thoughts on the proposed Atlanta-to-Savannah Intercity Passenger Rail Project through an online public survey open through August 6.
The study is evaluating the potential benefits, costs, and feasibility of establishing passenger rail service between Atlanta and Savannah. According to GDOT, the project is examining potential route options, station locations, service characteristics, and other factors that would help determine whether passenger rail service is practical along the corridor.
