Calls for justice and police reform have echoed in Wilmington during recent days, following the June 24th death of 19-year-old Kadir Skinner in a police-involved shooting.
Tuesday, those calls were coming from religious leaders, who spoke out from several perspectives. They gathered virtually, days after the release of police body-worn camera footage that showed Skinner still alive, being handcuffed after he was shot in the lower back. He was later placed into a police car to be taken to the hospital.
