Washington Park Wednesdays
With happy hour at 5 p.m. and concerts from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Washington Park Wednesdays features a lineup of music acts playing a wide variety of genres, food trucks and family-friendly activities each Wednesday until Aug. 26. The nights have themes and often incorporate activities or resources from related community partners. More information here.
Indaba Nights
The St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care Bucyrus Campus is hosting Indaba Nights from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday until Sept. 16 at the Indaba Band Shell, 2450 W. North Ave., weather permitting. MELAA SOUL will be playing a rescheduled show on Tuesday, July 21. More information and full lineup here.
Vibes on Villard
The Villard Avenue Business Improvement District, in partnership with Havenwoods Neighborhood Partnership, is hosting six Wednesday evenings of live music for the community from 6 to 8:30 p.m. from July 22 through Aug. 26 at the North Milwaukee Art Park, 5161 N. 35th St. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy local food and refreshments. Concerts in Gengler Park
In Sr. Jeanne Gengler Park, at North Gengler Circle and West Burleigh Street across from Ascension St. Joseph Hospital, enjoy activities and games for kids, food truck vendors, a mini farmers market and music by DJ Stretch from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 and Love, Peace & Soul on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Sherman Phoenix Night Market and Patio Party
From 5 to 9 p.m. on the Thursdays of July 23, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20 at Sherman Phoenix Marketplace, 3536 W. Fond du Lac Ave., the night market will have local businesses and food specials, a DJ, live entertainment, prize giveaways, line dancing and more. More information here.
Uptown Get Down
Uptown Get Down is the Uptown Crossing Business Improvement District’s signature summer event series that features live music, local food, artists and neighborhood businesses. It’s held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays July 23, Aug. 27 and Sept. 24 at Uptown 56 Park at North 56th Street and West North Avenue. More information here.
Enderis Park Concerts on the Green
Enderis Park Neighborhood Association’s Concerts on the Green returns for two more dates: July 23 with Everything Nice and headliner Hot Rod Huey & the B Sides and Aug. 13 with Ben Mulwana and headliner People Brothers Band. Food is available for purchase at the event, held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Enderis Park Playfield, 2938 N. 72nd St. More information here.
Havenwoods Summer Sounds
Check out the summer music series at Havenwoods Taproom and Beer Garden, 5840 N. 60th St., from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays until Aug. 13, presented by Havenwoods Neighborhood Partnership. Drinks are available for purchase. More information and lineup here.
Music on the Beerline
Join Riverworks Development Corp. from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21 and Friday, Sept. 18 at the Beerline Plaza Performance Stage, 3350 N. Holton St., for live music, food trucks, drinks from Amorphic Beer and the 53212Marketplace Mini pop-up market. Headlining Aug. 21 is Sugo and Sept. 18 is De La Buena. Each concert also features youth opening acts from Running Rebels. The July concert featuring Love, Peace & Soul is being rescheduled for the fall at Amorphic Beer. More information here.
Summer Concert Series in Rose Park
A variety of live music acts will be playing from 2 to 6 p.m. every Saturday until Aug. 29 at Clinton and Bernice Rose Park, 3045 N. Martin Luther King Drive. The events have an ongoing DJ set, opening acts and headliners, plus spoken word and other elements. More information and lineup here.
Sherman Perk Music Series
