DENVER (KDVR) — Three alleged drug suppliers from Colorado were arrested as part of a large-scale FBI operation designed to takedown a multi-state cocaine trafficking group.

According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of South Dakota, the multi-agency operation, referred to as “Operation Black Book,” led to 14 arrests of people throughout South Dakota as well as three in Colorado.
The first part of the operation was in Colorado on June 16, when FBI agents from South Dakota and Denver arrested three people and seized 17 guns. The Colorado arrests were as follows:
The overall federal investigation led to the takedown of a multi-state cocaine trafficking group that was responsible for bringing kilograms of cocaine into South Dakota, and it resulted in numerous seizures:
- Over 37 guns
- More than $61,000
- About five kilograms of cocaine
