Haines City officials selected Joe Halman Jr. to serve as the next city manager at a special July 21 commission meeting.
Halman has been serving as Haines City’s public safety director since January, where he provided oversight of the city’s police and fire departments.
“I am committed to leading with integrity, transparency, collaboration and accountability,” Halman said in a news release. “My goal is to ensure that every decision we make reflects the best interests of our citizens while supporting the employees who work tirelessly every day to move Haines City forward.”…
