A woman from Florida was charged with second-degree attempted murder of her teenage sister. 26-year-old Lynn My Le was initially arrested on October 26, 2025, at her home in South Florida, per CBS News.
According to reports from Tampa Free Press, a dispute erupted when Le’s 15-year-old sister caught her going through her phone without permission. The arrest reports obtained from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office stated that the younger sister confronted the perpetrator and made an effort to get her cell phone back.

Tension escalated between the girls as they reached the living room around 3:20 p.m. local time. Then Le armed herself with a black knife all of a sudden and stabbed her sister four times in the back while she was trying to escape. Additionally, the teenager was stabbed approximately six times when she collapsed on the floor. The victim apparently pleaded for her life, as mentioned in the arrest reports.
As of May 25, 2026, Le was sentenced to 180 days in prison after she received a seven-year probation sentence back in October 2025. When the police officers arrived at the crime scene at the 21100 block of Southwest 92nd Avenue in Cutler Bay, they discovered the teenager bleeding profusely with at least 10 stab wounds.
