MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Families will have one final chance to cool off with local firefighters during Murfreesboro’s last Splash Out event of the summer on Thursday, July 23, at Barfield Crescent Park.
The free event will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department in partnership with Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation. Firefighters will bring a fire truck to the park and spray large streams of water for children and families to enjoy.
“This is a great opportunity for families to cool off, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with our firefighters in a fun, relaxed setting,” MFRD Fire Chief Mark McCluskey said. “We look forward to wrapping up another successful Splash Out season with the community.”…
