Two new tech headquarters are coming to Pittsburgh’s AI Avenue.

Driving the news: Last week, two AI companies announced moves to Bakery Square in Larimer.

  • Jacobian, which created an AI imaging platform for radiologists, is establishing a headquarters in Pittsburgh.
  • Mine Vision Systems, a German AI mining company, is relocating its global headquarters to Bakery Square.

Context: Boosters have dubbed the stretch of Penn Avenue between Bakery Square to East Liberty AI Avenue in hopes of attracting more AI companies to work alongside the massive tech anchors of Google on one end and Duolingo on the other…
