Convicted Oklahoma restaurant owner Brent Swadley set for sentencing hearing
OKLAHOMA CITY – Convicted restaurant owner Brent Swadley is expected back in court Wednesday for a sentencing hearing in his criminal fraud case.
Swadley was found guilty of defrauding the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department through his Foggy Bottom Kitchen restaurants at state parks. Prosecutors accused him of creating fake invoices and over-billing the state for millions of dollars.
The sentencing hearing comes after Swadley’s defense team recently challenged evidence related to recorded jail phone calls.
