Judge denies Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty bond ahead of kidnapping trial

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A judge has again denied Memphis rapper Lontrell Williams Jr., also known as Pooh Shiesty, release while he awaits trial on kidnapping and robbery charges.

According to court documents, Williams appeared in federal court in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday. Senior Judge David C. Godbey denied Williams’ request for release, citing public safety concerns.
