BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The Baton Rouge Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex that left one person dead on Tuesday afternoon, July 7.
Police said Jordan Edwards was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Tuesday, July 21, for second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
According to officials, the shooting happened on Florida Boulevard near Marilyn Drive. A call about the gunfire came in around 3:45 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene to find a man dead with gunshot wounds, according to police.
