Clark County Sheriff reviewing muted body cameras in officer fatal stabbing of DUI suspect

RIDGEFIELD, Wash. (KATU) — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed it is investigating whether deputies violated department policy by muting their body-worn cameras after an incident in which a deputy fatally stabbed a DUI suspect.

The fatal use of force occurred on the night of May 7, 2025. Deputies arrested 54-year-old Marc Fogle on suspicion of DUI after he crashed into two parked vehicles in Vancouver.
