NOTTINGHAM, Md. — White Marsh Mall will host a free back-to-school community block party next month aimed at helping local families prepare for the upcoming academic year.
The event, presented by human services organization Journey of Life, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Level 1 of the shopping center, near Macy’s Home Store and JCPenney at 8200 Perry Hall Blvd.
Organizers designed the afternoon around the theme “Moving Minds, Empowering Futures,” blending family entertainment with access to local support services. Scheduled activities include live music with DJ Twiz, high-energy dance performances, face painting, a moon bounce, and a community fashion show. Free snacks, including cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn, will be available alongside back-to-school supply giveaways…
