A downriver physician has received a national honor in the field of family medicine.
Dr. Christopher Hopper, a family physician in Allen Park, has been awarded the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Hopper received a medical degree from Wayne State University, a master’s degree in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and completed his residency at Beaumont Hospital Wayne. According to his Michigan Academy of Family Physicians profile, he has advanced certification in yoga therapy and completed a fellowship at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.
