OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A substance sold legally at some Ocala smoke shops could soon disappear from shelves entirely.
City leaders say reports of medical emergencies are driving a push for a citywide ban on kratom, an herbal product marketed as a supplement and often used by consumers to self-treat pain, anxiety, depression and opioid withdrawal.
