(FOX40.COM) — A structure fire in a South Sacramento neighborhood damaged the backside and attic of a house, the Sacramento Fire Department said Wednesday.
Crews arrived on the 5900 block of 41st Street to see heavy smoke pushing out of the front door and garage, with fire on the backside of the home and extending into the attic, officials said in a social media post.
Officials also said that there were people home at the time of the fire, who were alerted after noticing smoke coming out of their air conditioning vents. They escaped quickly, but noticed heavy fire in the backyard.
There were no reported injuries in the fire, all occupants of the house escaped safely. The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire…
