TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Residents on Moran Avenue say large trees in the backyards of neighboring properties on Searles Road have been falling on their homes for years, causing structural damage and putting family members at risk.
Toney Armstrong, who lives on Moran Avenue, said a large branch fell from one of the trees while he was preparing to mow his lawn last Saturday.
“I was out here Saturday, and I was getting ready to cut my grass and I heard some crackling noise, and I happened to look up and a big log just fell down. I just made it out of there,” Armstrong said…
