SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Florida Department of Health report now lists four confirmed or probable cyclosporiasis cases across Sarasota and Manatee counties combined, as cyclospora cases rise nationwide and a local farm reports an increase in customer inquiries about produce sourcing.
The latest FLHealthCHARTS report, which covers Jan. 1 through July 18, lists two cases in Manatee County and two in Sarasota County.
That is an increase from the prior report, which covered data through July 11 and listed one case in Manatee County. Sarasota County did not appear with a listed count in the visible results of that earlier report…
