CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — As Clarksville continues to grow, local leaders are weighing how to pay for the roads, schools and city services that come with adding thousands of new residents.
During this year’s budget process, city leaders discussed using an estimated $3 million a year that currently goes to Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools through the city’s voluntary sales tax contribution to help cover the city’s growing needs.
