Erie man accused of stabbing his dog multiple times

(WJET/WFXP)– Criminal charges have been filed against an Erie man accused of stabbing a dog while it was in its cage.

Pennsylvania State Police in Erie said they were called out to a home in the 8700 block of Perry Highway on June 3 for an assault on an animal.

After investigating, police said 27-year-old Christopher Randall Jr. sprayed Fabreze in his dog’s eyes, then stabbed it multiple times with a knife, all while the dog was locked in its cage.
