DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A family was displaced, and their four pets died, after a residential structure fire in Union this Thursday morning.
According to the Fire Collaborative: Englewood and Union, the fire happen at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the 400 block San Bernardino Trail. Arriving crews saw heavy smoke out of the front of the home and heavy fire conditions in the living room, by the sofa.
2 NEWS spoke to Union Fire Chief Zach Marvin on the scene. He told us the family safely evacuated before firefighters arrived. The family will be unable to stay home at this time.
