ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — On Friday, visitors to Wahlfield Park near Grand Rapids can attend the grand opening of the brand-new Wahlfield Dog Park and enjoy free dog treats, a photo booth, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and more.
“After the ceremony, you can be the first to explore everything in this brand-new, fully enclosed 10-acre dog park,” Christina Anthony, communications manager for Kent County, said.
Muskegon symphony to host community concert with amateur musicians
The new Wahlfield Dog Park includes divided areas for large dogs and small dogs, crushed stone walking trails, a swimming pond with a jumping dock and a dog wash station.
“We know that it’s going to be a huge benefit to our community as the first dog park in the Kent County parks system,” Anthony said.
