MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Montgomery’s Wares Ferry Road bridge is back open seven months after it closed for repairs, the city said Thursday.
The city shut the bridge down on Dec. 18, 2025, after structural assessments determined that it was no longer safe for traffic.
