N.C. governor orders flags at half-staff for two Fort Bragg soldiers killed overseas

RALEIGH, N.C. (WAVY) — North Carolina Governor Josh Stein has ordered all U.S. and North Carolina flags at state facilities to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Friday, July 24 in honor of two deceased Fort Bragg soldiers.

The soldiers, 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan and Sgt. Michael Emmanuel Swinton, were killed while serving in the Middle East.

Feehan, a native of Hawaii, was assigned to the 2nd battalion, 55th Air Defense Artillery Regiment at Fort Bragg as an Air Defense Artillery Officer. He was killed in Jordan on July 18…
