(FOX40.COM) — Nearly 10 months after Jesuit High School announced it would admit female students for the first time in its 63-year history, a group is suing the school in hopes of stopping the change.
The lawsuit was filed last week in Sacramento County Superior Court by a group of parents, students, donors, alumni and supporters, according to the complaint. The group calls itself “Men for Others,” a reference to a school motto.
The group argues that by deciding to admit girls beginning in the 2027 school year, Jesuit’s Board of Trustees exceeded their authority and “fundamentally deviated from the school’s foundational mission.” The plaintiffs also accused school leaders of “deliberately concealing” information about plans and reasons for the change…
