Party in the Park
The 29th season of Party in the Park continues on Thursday with a headline show from Samantha Fish, an acclaimed blues and Americana guitarist. The Adam Ezra Group, a folk and Americana soul group, will open the show.
The summer concert series takes place every Thursday at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park through Aug. 13. Gates open at 5 p.m., and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. This year’s lineup includes both nationally touring artists and local artists across multiple genres.
General admission is $7, and children 12 and under get in free. You can get tickets online here, in-person at the Auditorium Theater on East Main Street, or at the gate. People can bring one sealed bottle of water, but lawn chairs, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, and pets are prohibited. See News10NBC’s guide to Party in the Park here. Last week, Party in the Park was canceled due to air quality concerns from wildfires. However, there are no weather concerns for this Thursday.
International Plaza happy hour
The International Plaza is hosting a free happy hour and donation drive on Thursday. The plaza on North Clinton Avenue will have live performances by Frankie’s Latin Jazz Trio and music from DJ Gaby. People who attend are encouraged to bring donations for Venezuela to provide relief after the earthquake…
