TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Fifty Leon County students are getting a new title this summer: Junior Deputies.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office has launched its first Sheriff Walt the Safety Star Youth Safety Initiative, welcoming 50 students at the Walker Community Center to become Junior Deputies and official Safety Stars.
