ST. LANDRY PARISH, LA. (KLFY) — A narcotics investigation in Sunset yielded an arrest, two pounds of marijuana and a firearm, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Daramus Simmons, 35, of Carencro was arrested on July 23 and charged with:
- PWITD schedule i (marijuana)
- Felon in possession of firearm
- Firearm in presence of CDS
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
During a narcotics investigation Simmons was identified as a suspect who was accused of distribution of marijuana. Simmons allegedly agreed to sell two pounds of marijuana for $2,200 and set the location in the Sunset area, deputies said…
