OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – On Thursday afternoon, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office announced the sentencing of Ocean Hudson, the man who repeatedly stabbed an Edmond Police officer in 2025.
Hudson received three life sentences Wednesday, along with an additional 13 years in prison, after he pleaded guilty in May to five felony charges and one misdemeanor, said the AG’s office.
AG Drummond says Ocean Hudson attempted to commit suicide-by-cop on May 1, 2025, while Edmond Police Officer Caleb Hodam was conducting a traffic stop. Hudson ambushed Officer Hodam with pepper spray and attacked him with a knife. Officer Hodam was rushed to OU Health and treated for life-threatening injuries.
The day of the traffic stop, the AG’s office says Hudson was due in Canadian County Court for sexually abusing a four-year-old child and for possessing child sexual abuse materials…
