NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — A street race in Nampa ended with a rollover crash and two DUI arrests early July 18, 2026, after a police officer witnessed two vehicles speeding southbound on 12th Avenue Road.
At 1:36 a.m., a Nampa police officer was on a traffic call near 12th Avenue Road and 12th Avenue South when he saw two vehicles racing at a high rate of speed. As the vehicles approached a distinct curve at 12th Avenue South and Roosevelt Avenue, there was a crash and one of the racing vehicles, a 2014 Honda Accord, rolled several times.
The other vehicle, a 2018 GMC Sierra, was not involved in the crash but stopped nearby. Police said the drivers knew each other…
