Man sentenced to 10 years for entering Beaverton homes, crawling into bed with people

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) — Christopher Lloyd Rydman pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling and private indecency, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, authorities said.

Washington County Circuit Judge Eric Butterfield imposed the sentence in the July 21, 2026, hearing. Senior Deputy District Attorney Andrew Freeman prosecuted the case.

The charges stem from a series of incidents Oct. 8, 2025, in Beaverton. Police said Rydman entered an unlocked apartment about 10:45 p.m. where a single mother and her children lived, went into the bedroom and got into bed with the woman as she slept…
