VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) — C-TRAN plans to build a new westbound Vine bus rapid transit station at Mill Plain Boulevard and Chkalov Drive, aiming to improve access and pedestrian safety at one of Clark County’s busiest intersections. Construction is expected in 2027.
The Vine on Mill Plain, C-TRAN’s second bus rapid transit line, opened in 2023. The project initially included only an eastbound station near Mill Plain and Chkalov because of traffic and physical constraints, leaving no westbound stop at the intersection, the agency said. Since then, C-TRAN said it has received numerous requests to add a westbound station.
