TAMPA, Fla. – A firearms investigation in Tampa led Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives to execute a residential search warrant that resulted in the seizure of multiple weapons, illegal modifications, and drugs, as well as two arrests on July 23, 2026.
Inside the residence, detectives recovered 12 firearms. Three of the weapons had been modified with bump-fire stocks, devices that allow firearms to fire at a significantly higher rate than originally designed.
