OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Ocala Police officers arrested 20-year-old Labrentae Thomas after they found a gun during a traffic stop on July 3.
Thomas is a convicted felon and is legally prohibited from having firearms.
Officers say they pulled Thomas over for traffic violations and noticed signs of marijuana. During the traffic stop, officers say they discovered a handgun hidden under the rear car seat. Thomas ran off and was later arrested in a nearby backyard…
