Summer in the Texas Panhandle is starting to wind down as kids will soon be trading video games for homework.
That also means Amarillo-area schools are set to release their school supplies list, with parents able to take advantage of the state’s tax-free weekend, Friday, Aug. 7, through Sunday, Aug. 9, to check items off their lists.
