DES MOINES, Iowa — A Huxley man faces potential prison time after a federal judge convicted him Thursday during a bench trial for violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act by intentionally hitting two Canada geese with his truck.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa, 19-year-old Wyatt Christian Greenfield hit the two geese while driving east on NE 70th Avenue in Ankeny on March 3.
