LUBBOCK, Texas — Kat’s Alley Cats has made it their mission to contain and assess the stray cat problem in Lubbock for the past eight years.
From 2018 to July 2026, the organization has helped over 11,000 cats by trapping, neutering or spaying then releasing them. This way they can help stabilize the overpopulation in cat colonies.
With some cats, they do every step needed to give them a home and for foster adoption coordinator PJ Gil, it’s something she has made her passion.
