KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Widespread rain and storm activity is in place for Friday morning. Waves of rain will persist through early afternoon, and some of these downpours could be quite heavy. While there may be brief lulls or gaps between rounds, generally plan on wet weather through about 2 pm.
We are expecting to see rain that may occur for many hours, which could cause a few spots to pick up significant rain. The majority of the area will see around 1 inch, which is needed rain after our recent hot stretch. However, there could be areas of localized flooding.
Make sure to have your rain gear before you head out the door and give yourself extra time during the morning commute…
