CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A teenager has been sent to the hospital following a shooting and carjacking in the Sedgefield area, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police report.
Around 8:33 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, police were called to the 700 block of Sedgefield Drive. This is off Poindexter Drive near Park Road.
Police say four people stole a Black Chevrolet Camaro at gunpoint. During the incident, one of the suspects shot a 17-year-old male, and the teen called 911. He was taken to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries…
